Manta coming to SeaWorld San Diego

“WODAN” – name of the new wooden rollercoaster revealed

Europa-Park is ending its 37th season with excellent results once again and visitor numbers totalling far over four million. As the new year gets off to a start, Europa-Park’s managing partners, Roland and Jürgen Mack, have also finally revealed the name of the new wooden rollercoaster: “WODAN -Timburcoaster”.

New Lease on Life for Coney Island: Luna Park
When New York City’s beloved but dilapidated Astroland, an amusement park formerly located on the Brooklyn peninsula named Coney Island, announced that it would be selling off its rides and closing its gates by the fall of 2008, many residents of the Big Apple felt that the heyday of that particular part of town had finally drawn to a close. However, Mayor Michael Bloomberg soon announced revitalization plans for the entire area, with a small part of the new project zoned specifically for a new amusement park; with a 10-year lease on the land, Central Amusement International opened their brand-new Luna Park on Memorial Day weekend of 2010 and brought a small piece of Gotham back to life with many new modern twists, including nineteen attractions manufactured by renowned Italian ride designer Zamperla.
